"End 68 Hours of Hunger" program provides school children (SAU 16) with
food for weekend meals.
During December we asked for donations of snack items (individually wrapped).  Items like pretzels, chips, gold fish and also wrapped candy bars.  The idea to put together special holiday snack bags came from the End 68 Hours of Hunger program so we were more than happy to participate.  Food items were donated to the church and a total of 60 goodie bags were put together for the children to receive in their backpack along with other much needed food for over the weekends. Thank you for your support and prayers for this very important community outreach program.
For more information check out their facebook page www.end68hoursofhunger.org
We also support the local food pantry "St. Vincent dePaul".  The following items are currently needed and welcome:  Personal Hygiene Items: Tooth brushes, tooth paste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels etc.  They are also looking for clean, empty egg cartons (12 egg size no larger).  Items may be brought directly to the pantry at 53 Lincoln St., Exeter or left at the church in the basket just inside the sanctuary.   www.svdexeter.com
